Meet Jessica
Jessica is a Partner at Berlin Melzer Law and has devoted her legal career to family law since becoming an attorney in 2015. She represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, parenting matters, child support, maintenance, and complex financial and property issues.
Jessica is known for her practical, straightforward approach to family law. She understands that litigation is sometimes necessary, but also recognizes that the best result for a client may be achieved outside of the courtroom. She works closely with clients to understand their priorities, develop a strategy, and find solutions that make sense for both their case and their future. When litigation is necessary, Jessica is a tenacious advocate who is comfortable in the courtroom and prepared to protect her clients' interests. Her ability to balance strong advocacy with a practical approach makes her an important part of the Berlin Melzer Law leadership team.
Jessica earned her J.D. in 2015 and has been recognized by Illinois Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in family law. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and South Suburban Bar Association and serves as an Ambassador for the Andrew Weishar Foundation. Jessica lives in the Chicagoland area with her spouse, two sons, and dog.
