Meet Tahira
Tahira is an Associate Attorney at Berlin Melzer Law who brings compassion, determination, and a deeply personal understanding of the challenges families can face during periods of transition. As a Pakistani immigrant, Tahira understands that family law issues do not occur in a vacuum. A family's culture, traditions, immigration experience, financial circumstances, and expectations can all shape the decisions that matter most. Her own background gives Tahira a unique perspective when working with clients from diverse families and communities and reinforces her belief that every client deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected.
Tahira gained practical experience working in the Chicago legal community and developed a particular interest in family law and the very real impact lawyers can have on individuals and families during difficult moments. She is Fluent in Urdu. She worked at two well-respected firms each for over 3 years, prior to starting at Berlin Melzer Law. At Berlin Melzer Law, Tahira shares the firm's philosophy that exceptional family-law representation requires more than knowing the law. It requires understanding the person and family behind the case and developing a strategy tailored to their particular goals, circumstances, and future.
